About the Role
Cookie3 is actively seeking a Business Development Lead for the North America region, to craft strategic partnerships and potentially construct a thriving team to propel Cookie3’s presence across US & Canada. This role is critical in identifying and sculpting relationships with potential partners spanning marketing, finance gaming, media/entertainment, and Web3, outlining and implementing partnership strategies, and fostering internal business frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Development: Construct and execute partnership strategies across diverse sectors, focusing on companies integrating crypto and web3 services.
- Partnership Acquisition: Identify, develop, and close significant partnerships to advance the mission of Cookie3, working closely with internal teams to deliver critical business insights.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate intimately with product, engineering, and marketing teams, delivering strategic perspectives and initiating market-impacting initiatives.
- Team Leadership: If performing at optimal levels, there is the potential to anchor and lead a dedicated partnerships team.
- Market Analysis: Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities within the web3 space, translating insights into actionable strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in business development, partnerships, or related roles at a high-growth tech company, with proven experience in the blockchain & crypto industry.
- Market Knowledge: Strong acumen in US & Canadian markets, with an extensive and relevant network including industry leaders and executives.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written and oral communication skills in English are essential; proficiency in Mandarin would be a valuable addition.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think proactively and innovatively, comfortable in a dynamic startup environment, with a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
